Who are we? Meet our partner – DTU

X-TREME 6G is run by a consortium of 17 companies, universities and research centers who decided to join their strengths and assets within one project to define the future of 6G in Europe, at the unique intersection of microlectronics and telecommunications

From Greece to Denmark, our project consortium almost covers all of the European continent. In X-TREME 6G, Northern Europe’s technological excellence is embodied by our partner DTU – Technical University of Denmark.

As stated by Tom Johansen, DTU’s representative within X-TREME 6G –

“The technical university of Denmark is one of the highest ranked technical universities in Europe renowned for its business-oriented approach, focus on sustainability and amazing study environment. 11.200 students are enrolled in one of DTU’s study programmes, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Master of Science in Engineering and PhD. DTU is represented by the Department of Space Research and Technology (DTU Space) through the Electromagnetic Systems division. The division of Electromagnetic Systems deals with antennas and microwave technology, components and circuits from the lower RF frequency range to terahertz. In X-TREME 6G, the university’s contribution will focus on sub terahertz electronics using InP DHBT technology.”
